The Stomp project is entering a new stage. Yes, for us it was a difficult test as for chefs: we used only our knowledge to prepare masterpieces from products that we ourselves extracted. We did not have equipment and refrigerators full of food; we needed to survive and prove ourselves as chefs even in the field.

This time, I urge everyone to show a completely different side of professional skills. We will turn not only to the gifts of nature, but also to people who use them with special knowledge – to local farmers. They will become the main source of food and inspiration in the new “Stomp”.

We want to support farmers and craft producers in our country. We will show that the product they make is unique and unparalleled in the world. This idea flew in the air during our campaign, and I am glad that Ukraine already has a program to support local manufacturers. “Shop of Traditions” from Silpo is a project that since 2011 has shown that our country is rich in gastronomic traditions, and young producers know how to make natural and tasty products using traditional national recipes and / or experimenting.

Me and the team of chefs will show the production of each farmer of this program, go through all the stages, prepare a dish from his products with the farmer, or simply listen to his story.

For 3 days we will be preparing and showing local products in a completely new way. We will not only support Ukrainian farmers by popularizing their products, but we ourselves will learn more about the nuances and intricacies of the unique products of our country.

We have already met the farmers during the hike, prepared breakfast and dinner from their products, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. This is an unforgettable experience! And yes, this is a way to show the whole world through the prism of our project the diversity of the country, chefs who cook as well as all Michelin stars, and farmers as an integral part of this cycle of events.
