Aguila is a multi industry holding company in Africa dedicated to building and sustaining African brands that give back to the communities they are in.
Despite being around for a while, Aguila hadn’t really announced itself to the world and they decided to change that narrative by developing a manifesto-esque video talking about their vision , capabilities and impact on the communities in which they operate.
Working hand in hand with Adbridge ; Aguila’s agency, it was decided early on to go full CG a no brainer move considering we were in the middle of 2020 where a pandemic loomed over our heads . A lock down meant a lot of correspondence and communication in order to get the whole team on the same page as far as look development and progress was concerned.
Scenes were highlighted by the visual analogy of building Africa with the arms of technology (excuse the pun) , aguila morphing into a multifaceted city of industries , a bar graph growth with the growing industries on the inside , a helping hand scene speaking to aguila’s foundation – gracestation and inspired by the foundation’s logo – the gracestation palm all this concluded by the dawn of a new day Signifying the new big kid on the block.
