UK fishing fleets are poised to clash with EU boats under the new Brexit trading arrangement with French, Danish and Irish boats most likely to cause distribution in UK waters, according to a International Business expert.
It comes as the Brexit trade deal comes into effect after months of wrangling over state aid, fisheries and the so called level playing field.
The deal was given a green light by both United Kingdom and European Union Parliaments after Prime Minister Boris Johnson and EU chiefs such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and French President Emmanuel Macron agreed to the terms of the deal in order to avoid a no deal Brexit.
